Music: Not Impossible

Music: Not Impossible (M:NI) is a vibrotactile wearable device that synchronizes audio signals to vibrations. With M:NI I created several haptic compositions for the different community to global events and created a standard model for future machine learning models for M:NI.

 

As a haptic composer, I created immersive vibrational experiences that go beyond vibrational synchronization with music. This involves not only precise timing but also the incorporation of multiple vibrational patterns which create immersive and engaging experiences for the audience.

I participated in the development of audio plugins for M:NI which for easier accessibility for normal producers. During the summer, I assisted Daniel in developing M:NI Player which is the plug-in developed in Max that let producers who are proficient in using DAW to easily participate in the M:NI project and create haptic compositions using Ableton Live.
